| Breeder recommendations in NE Ohio I just moved up to Ohio and would like to hear if anyone has any recommendations. I am scared to purchase my baby from the wrong place. Can anyone point me in the right direction? |

| Breeder first; Puppy second You are wise to be coming here and asking for recommendations on breeders. It has been said here many times, find your breeder first and then your puppy. Your breeder is criticial. They will be someone that you should be able to turn to with questions and knowledgable of the breed to answer them. Also, your breeder needs to be commited to the health of their dogs as well as understanding the lines they are breeding. An excellent breeder in Ohio is Jala Yorkshire Terriers (Jalayorkies.com). They are in northeast Ohio so they might be close to you. They are a mom and daughter team and very knowledgable of the breed.... not to mention theirs dogs are a beautiful representation of the breed. You just want to be sure to find a breeder that will be there for you tomorrow, raises healthy socialized puppies and cares about the right match of puppy and owner. Be patient and you will be rewarded with many years of yorkie kisses. Good luck with your search and welcome to Yorkie Talk.

| Thank you I emailed Jala Yorkies. I had also contacted HDYorkieBear in Ohio. I was a day late on one of her yorkies. If ya'll have any other information to share, I'd love to listen. There are yorkies that have been saved from puppy mills available nearby but I worry about their health. Thank you again! I appreciate the replies! |

| Jala Yorkies are the best. I love them. Their dogs are exquisite.

| How is your search going? I'm in NE Ohio as well, and we would like to add a baby girl to our family.

| We have to wait... Well I had a yorkie all picked out and was almost going to get him and then I had to get my car fixed for a whooping amount of money. So, I had to put the yorkie purchase on hold until I can get the extra money back together. I was so sad about it. We talked to Jala Yorkies. |

| I agree. Piccolo is a Goldenray Girl and I have nothing but nice things to say about her.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Piccolo is gorgeous, looks like a Goldenray baby. Lucky you! I always wanted a yorkie from Cher, but it just never worked out with timing.

| No, I have not heard of them but I'm sure others may have. Good Luck. You can't find any better breeding than Jala and Goldenray and not only that, honest/ ethical.

| I'm in Northeast Ohio and we got Izzy from Brenda of Greens Treasured Yorkies in Michigan. (Greenstreasuredyorkies.com) Brenda is a member here - she goes by Breny. She was wonderful to work with and Izzy is a wonderful girl. We love her so much.
