Female Yorkie Wanted in Illinois I'm trying to get everything lined up to purchase a yorkie sometime around the end of August. Ive been reading tons of reviews on breeders, but most of them around my area arent active right now or I just cant get in contact with them. If any of the wonderful breeders on this site would like to help me, it would be greatly appreciated.

| I wish you luck! None of the IL breeders listed on YTCA site would reply to my inquiries and the IL breeders I did find were sub-par at best. I think it took me 9 mos to find Gwenni's breeder, but no longer breeds.

Im beginning to think I'm going to have to start looking outside of IL. Im just so set on wanting to actually visit the breeder and see the conditions etc. I've purchased a Yorkie from another state before, but I didnt really want to do that again. I guess the only way I would is if I found an amazing breeder.

I know exactly what you're talking about when it comes to Illinois breeders. Why not look into Brenda Green, website Greens Treasured Yorkies in Michigan. She would be my choice. I'm sure driving distance from Chicago would be well worth it. Look at her website and past posts and I think you would agree.

Chicago area here, and we went out of state to get the Spice Boys. A great breeder makes a road trip no big deal! Buy the Breeder first, then the Pup. Check out YTCA.org
