This is an old thread but boy were you ever right when you say she will surface again, she has surfaced. Website still isnt' very good so many red flags it is unbelievable.
She is contacting show breeders trying to find a show female. Contacted me as well. Feed back from show breeders I know sure didn't put her in a very good light at all. Big time. Sure am glad it is so easy to check someone out that contacts us looking for a dog or puppy.

she still has a website. DH and I were doing some browsing....he has become addicted to yorkies.

Her pictures under "yorkie puppies for sale" were taken on the 7th of this month.

On her website she is selling two adult females for 100 dollar a piece. That is sad, considering she's saying that includes their spaying. It is almost as if they are of no value to her....which I guess none of them really have a value other than profit to her...breaks my heart.

There is another way of looking at this - often when breeders get ready to retire one of their Yorkies they give them away for the cost of their spay. When people are "given" dogs very often they don't feel like their gift has "value" but when they pay a little something for their dog they think more of it. Some people can not pay high prices for Yorkie puppies and look for retired breeders to adopt and give wonderful homes to them. I know many breeders who charge $100-$200 for their retired 2-5 year old females and this money goes toward vetting them before going to their new homes - to spay and perhaps do dentals on them (if needed). I think it's a responsible breeder who makes sure their Yorkies are spayed/neutered before placing them in a new home. Many breeders have people on waiting lists or asking to adopt retired dogs for this low price. Maybe this breeder is more interested in finding a good home for these two girls than the money - at least she is spaying them and looking for good homes instead of selling them for further breeding or dropping them off at a shelter or rescue.

I was just meaning that compared to how much she sells her puppies for it was a really low price. I'm glad that they are spayed so someone cannot buy them to keep breeding them and I also understand that a lot of people cannot afford a high priced dog; me included. That is the only thing holding me back from another yorkie right now is paying a lot for them. I was just saying that to me it seemed to be a really low price considering most of her puppies are over a thousand dollars.

GAH!!! I almost bought a puppy from this lady!!!! It is a good thing this post was not deleted and I was able to search for it via google. I was curious to why she never bothers to ask me about my living situation and why she was selling her puppies at such a cheap price. I didn't realized how many red flags that I came across with until I read this thread. It was definitely too good to be true and I am glad I woke up! This forum should list and report all horrible breeders! It sickens me that people do this. I even booked my vacation to get ready for the puppy only to find out what type of breeder she is. I am glad I found out now though before she gives more headache in the long run. Oh well! I guess I will spend it relaxing at home

Don't feel bad we can all be duped. When we lost little Lolita I looked at her website alot because it said "champions" lol. I just couldn't get past the looks of her dams. Thank goodness looking was as far as I got.
