Some people can not pay high prices for Yorkie puppies and look for retired breeders to adopt and give wonderful homes to them. I know many breeders who charge $100-$200 for their retired 2-5 year old females and this money goes toward vetting them before going to their new homes - to spay and perhaps do dentals on them (if needed). I think it's a responsible breeder who makes sure their Yorkies are spayed/neutered before placing them in a new home. Many breeders have people on waiting lists or asking to adopt retired dogs for this low price. Maybe this breeder is more interested in finding a good home for these two girls than the money - at least she is spaying them and looking for good homes instead of selling them for further breeding or dropping them off at a shelter or rescue.

I was just meaning that compared to how much she sells her puppies for it was a really low price. I'm glad that they are spayed so someone cannot buy them to keep breeding them and I also understand that a lot of people cannot afford a high priced dog; me included. That is the only thing holding me back from another yorkie right now is paying a lot for them. I was just saying that to me it seemed to be a really low price considering most of her puppies are over a thousand dollars.
