I just nutered and placed a 9 month old top of the line yorkie, ALL champions in his pedigee last week. You can, hope, dream, pray, sometimes its just not there. Maybe you could re word your advertising. I will stay away from the tiny breeding issue :<(

I took no offense. I am researching and reading you all's posts every day and I have learned so much from you but I was "ignorant" in a lot of ways when I first came here. When I posted about my little baby boy and the size of his parents, some people really made a lot of rude comments about my breeder and I nearly left the board because of it. It just seems like every time these two subjects come up, there is a flap about it and maybe new people just don't know any better till they have been here for awhile. I am getting my female from the same breeder. I have found her to be very helpful and knowledgable. She cares for her babies too. Just yesterday, she was telling me that she thinks one of her little males is ready to go now at sixteen weeks. She wouldn't let him go before because of his size and low sugar. So you see, she does care.

When people first started posting about teacups and the breeding of them, people were a lot nicer about posting to it...but over the months, the same issues come up and people just don't respond as they once did.

Society has classified yorkies into different groups and people are purposely breeding tinies for tinies. The puppies can't be much smaller than a larger bitches pups. Gracie's last litter we had 1 that was 3 ounces 2 at 4 ounces and 1 at 5 ounces. But with a tiny, a 3 ounce pup can be too large for her to pass thus the c-section. It's not like tinies are giving birth to pinkies or something that small.

Once you've been around a while, even your attitude towards certain topics will change. Either you'll ignore them totally as I have or your posts come across as what some would consider rude.

Rebel came from a breeder who's stud was 3 lbs and momma was 5. Rebel is close to 5 lbs now and won't be 6 months old till next week.

I guess I will just have to toughen up. I am a tender hearted Southern gal but usually I will jump right in, if I think someone is being mistreated. I always take up for the underdog. Can't help it. It's my nature. About the pup I am getting, Do you think a puppy from a five or five and a half female and a three and a half daddy will be large enough to breed or is just anybodys guess.

Your female is the right size to breed and with your small male you will still get small pups but it will be safely. I bet they will be cute. AI am sorry you took some flack over your breeder. I love small yorkies I think they are darling.

You can only guestimate the puppies size by going by the parents weight but you just never know. You can get a female from these two and the pup could be 3 lbs fully grown or can even go up to 7 lbs. You can't use any determinates in these dogs. That's why no reputable breeder will guaranted weight, size or colors. Yorkies can be tricky!
