Any additional information you want to add: Three pups from a litter of four boys available. They are 99% pee pad trained, already know how to sit and will be learning "lay down" this week. They are de-wormed and have their first shots, I will be getting the second round soon. There is a $300 deposit and (if you want) I can keep the pups until Christmas so you can make payments/surprise a loved one/save some money on food and puppy pads until the holiday. I will also be working on housebreaking them once they have their second round of shots, and the longer they stay here the more tricks they are going to learn. I have been socializing them with a friend's larger dog several days a week, so they should be well-rounded. They will come with a ziplock bag of their favorite dry food, Blue Buffalo, and some Beneful Prepared Meals wet food (I mix it in with their dry food sometimes, I like it because it looks just like stew your mom would make). I will also include a few toys (they love cat toys - balls with a bell inside) and some rawhide chews, which are their favorite treat in the world. Check out my youtube channel YouTube - JessicasYorkies's Channel I will post some photos of the parents... |

| Cute little pups, but the last thing a person wants to do is to surprise a person with a Puppy Christmas Present. JMHO. Limited registration? Guarantee? |

YT 1000 Club Member | That is true....there are alot of "presents" that do end up in Shelters, Rescues and PRS. Not everyone should get one for Christmas and I probably wouldn't have if I hadn't been talking for the last 2 years about wanting a yorkie. Everyone should make sure that a furbaby is what the person really wants and knows how much work they are before they purchase one and bring them home. |

Reputable breeders do not allow pups to go home during the holidays. Reason, too much activity and pups require constant monitoring. The possibility of hyperglycemia (everyone wanting to hold the pup), the possibility of the pup getting out, because of the in and out of guests.

| Well apparently I can't. I honestly didn't want anyone to "surprise" anyone with a pup, just wanted y'all to know I will keep them as long as I need to because they are part of my family. They will come with a contract that guarantees 1 year of health and will require the puppy be returned to the original breeder NOT in a shelter. The registration is not limited. |

What health screening having you done on the parents and the pups? If you're letting them go at 12 weeks, then I'm sure bile acids haven't won't have been performed. As well as OFA & CERFS and of course temperament tests.

| That's ok! But, I think you can have admin delete your post so that you can put up a newly corrected one. We're here to help you do what is best for these pups.

| I will definitely talk to my vet about these test options. I am probably going to have them at least until Christmas (everyone who has called so far wants a girl, and I can't help them with four boys). There's one pup who I was thinking about keeping until he is old enough to be evaluated for showing purposes... How would I go about getting that evaluation? And who should I contact about deleting this thread and creating a new one once I have all the information I need? |

Bile Acids are performed & 16 weeks and 6 months. OFA at 2 years of age CERFs at 1 year. These tests are going to cost a bit of a bundle. Why not place these pups as pets only with no breeding rights.

| You're right, it would be a lot easier to just hold onto the papers until they're neutered. But why wouldn't I need to perform the tests on neutered pups as well? |
