That is true....there are alot of "presents" that do end up in Shelters, Rescues and PRS. Not everyone should get one for Christmas and I probably wouldn't have if I hadn't been talking for the last 2 years about wanting a yorkie. Everyone should make sure that a furbaby is what the person really wants and knows how much work they are before they purchase one and bring them home.
