A late fee of $65.00 is required on all litters submitted more than six (6) months after the litter was whelped. A $15.00 Expedited Delivery Fee can be paid to have the litter kit sent overnight, second business day delivery, once the sire owner approves the litter. | Gosh, I did not mean to start all this. First congratulations on the sale of all your puppies! When I started this non registered thing, all I was asking is why?? If it only cost $15 each to register your adults, and another $40 to register your litter, then why not get papers for the whole gang?? For an investment of around $70, you could have sold them for so much more. I personally don't buy and never bought a pure bred dog with no papers. (that is just me) I know anyone could lie and get false papers, but papers makes me feel like I'm more likely getting a prue breed. ![]() Did you say update all 6 puppies Sold?? I thought you had 5 for sale??? I have plenty of typ-os too! Last edited by troubletb; 10-09-2005 at 06:05 AM. |

| Donating YT 14K Club Member | Nah! You didn't start anything...at least I didn't see anything. With that said, I still think that...IMO...one should register a litter. The potential buyer may not care if they have papers or not but it's best to have them on hand for those that do. Potential buyers may look elsewhere if a pup doesn't have the papers while as someone that it doesn't matter to isn't going to walk away because they come with papers. make sense?

I agree, Jack is not registered and I paid 600.00 and Mandy is registered paid 750.00 for her. But the woman I got her from wanted 950.00 for her.I thought both were good prices for the price of a Yorkie here in NY. When I was looking I didnt see any yorkies that were registered for 1,000.Verena | |

| The reason I get nervous when I see pure breed pups for sale with no papers is this... when I sold my pups it was on a limited contract.. meaning they could not breed those pups and get them akc reg... but in reality they could breed the pups and just not paper them. So when I see no papers I wonder, were the original dogs sold as limited/or spay and neuter contract? and the person (not meaning you) went behind the original breeders back and breed the pups anyways? I imagine others wonder about this also, making them a little weary of buying a nonpapered pup... I don't understand why a person wouldn't get the papers (the breeder) Here in my state, non papered pups are 500... papered 900 up. I sold my pups for 700.. because they are on the bigger size, but are really not so big anymore. (akc papered) If you are able to paper your pups (the parents have to be akc to do this) you may want to consider it, many people would feel more comfortable buying them.... if you are not able to paper the pups, well there is nothing you can do... but people will wonder why, which could turn a lot of potential buyers away. Good luck selling your pups- they are a lot of fun to watch them grow ![]() edited to add: they are very cute, and I did not mean any offense, I was just trying to expain why papers can be important to the buyer |
