| Looking for a my next yorkie Hi, I'm ready for my second baby. Does anyone of of a good breeder near the NYC area. I already emailed breeders from the AKC and YTCA website but either I have not heard back or they have no puppies available at this time. I am in contact with a breeder now but would like several options if I doesn't work out. I currently have my baby Cookie who will turn 1 in less then a week. Thanks in advance. |

| A New Baby Did you try one of the yorkie rescue sites in New York. They have too many dogs available to mention, but I think I saw some that had puppies. Also think about an older Yorkie, they need homes also and all Yorkies, young and old are babies at heart and I know you know that since you have one already. I adopted one that is 7 and she is a cuddler, I'm looking for another. Good Luck, Lila and Mia |

| Hi. Did you try United Yorkie Rescue.com or go to Petfinder.com. Also YorkieHaven.com. I got mine from the petfinder site several years ago and I just love her. I found Mia and read her story and clicked on the adoption app. it took awhile for them to respond but finally did...I also applied for another dog not too long ago but she was in Missouri and I'm in Illinois. They like to place their dogs in their state first. Petfinder will also list the shelters in your area also. There are alot of private rescue sites. Good Luck I hope you will find a little angel to spoil. Me too. Lila and Mia |

| You could try ShihTzu and Furbaby Rescue. They have several adorable Yorkies for adoption. They foster their dogs through a network of volunteers and really get to know each dog's disposition. I've been in touch with them. There is an online application to fill out, but they contact you quickly. They will check references and do a home visit, but they seem to really know what they are doing. Good luck with your search.
