| Chocolate Yorkie Male - 2.5 lbs 1. Jamie Kay Malcom 2. Idaho Falls, Idaho 3. malcom_jamie23@msn.com; (208).757.7287- cell 4. 1 Chocolate yorkie male 5. Born October 29, 2008 6. 24 weeks old/6 months 7. Dam:4 lbs Sire:2.5 lbs 8. He currently weighs 2.5 lbs and doesn't seem to be growing anymore 9. Registered with the AKC, has champions on the sire's side; he is a PUREBRED yorkie. 10. $4,000 negotiable: prefer money order or cashiers check 11. Can be taken to his new home now 12. I will meet somewhere to deliever him, but I prefer not to ship. 13. $400 deposit, refundable 14. Has had his first set of shots, but is due for others soon 15. This is a darling little guy named Jasper, who has captured the hearts of my friends and family. He is one of my Tyrion's boys. He has the sweetest little pink nose and honey colored eyes. His ears stand straight up and he has the teddy bear face that is so prized among Yorkies. Judging from his macho attitude, I think he is convinced that he is part tiger. He loves to run and play, but also wants to be on your lap and close to your heart. He is shy at first, but blossoms when shown affection. He loves to play with his mother, so he will do well with other dogs, though tends to pick fights with larger cats. It is very rare to see a chocolate colored Yorkie, but even more uncommon to have one both so unique and charming. He has had his first set of shots and comes with vet records and papers. I will include his favorite toys, a book or magazine on yorkies if you want, and a supply of the dog food that he is used to eating. I hate to sell him, but I live with my parents and dad says he needs to go. I insist that he goes to a home with loving owners who will take the very best care of him. Please call me at (208).757.7287 if you think this little gentleman is right for you. I am located in Idaho Falls, Idaho. http://img.bonnint.net/slc/1073/1073...r=ksl/gallery1 |

| He certainly is cute! But my question is, why are you charging such a massive amount for a yorkie with an obvious genetic defect? This baby can't be shown or bred at all. He is super adorable though and I'd consider buying him if the price wasn't so outrageous :O |

| i agree with the previous post and wouldn't be a bit surprised if admin doesn't pull this thread. Just another breeder trying to make big money on a so-called "rare' yorkie. |

| Thanks you 2 for asking this(as I put my jaw back up where it belongs). Heck, I have a beautiful biewer that is only 2 to 2 1/2 lbs full grown, and a female at that, and I never even came close to paying that for her. |

| The reason I'm asking this much is because I have asked other breeders, groomers, and vets and they all tell me the same thing. I should be able to charge a lot for him. They average price suggested was $5000. I take wonderful care of Jasper and he deserves a good home, not one who will look down on him for his "genetic mutation." He is a sweet boy and he will make someone a wonderful lifetime friend. |

How is charging a massive amount of money for a Yorkie with a genetic defect relate to wanting a home for him that will not look down on him for his genetic defect? I'm not trying to be sarcastic, but reputable breeders, 'place' this type of puppy for very little cost, BECAUSE of the genetic defect. The 'average price suggested of $5,000.' is what BYB's and puppy mills try to charge unsuspecting people that believe this is a 'rare' Yorkie. | |

| That's way too much money. Just because someone has $4000 to spend on a dog doesn't make them good dog owners. You as a breeder should care more about placing him in a loving great home, not charging ridiculous amounts of money for your own benefit. And if you're gonna be charging $4000, he better have ALL his shots covered and be neutered for that price.

| Jamie When I first saw your ad, I could not believe the price! I figured maybe it was a mistake. I was shocked! At the time there were no comments, so I just kept on going reading the other ads. I am glad someone called you on your ad. All my animals (been married 30 yrs!) have always had a wonderful forever home. That should be the most important thing!! I have been a canary (hobby) breeder for the last 8 yrs. I always check out the buyer, and sell them for less than the going price. I want them to have a good home! Please remember that there are a lot of people who would love to own a Yorkie but cannot afford outrageous prices! We also take GOOD CARE OF OUR BABIES! I am currently saving my pennies to purchase my first baby and can"t wait for the day I actually get to hold him! High prices do not mean a good and loving home! |

| Very cute puppy but 500 dollars would be a better asking price. Good Luck in finding that baby a great home.... |
