i did a search and they are claiming a new strain....airborne

there is definitely conflicting answers...but, new information is
unfolding.. undoubtedly being kept quiet... no one would want to blame the vaccines...

This strain of parvo has been around for eight years now

The information about the "new strand" copied and pasted from the web forum in post #119 was posted on the web forum 2 1/2 years ago. I don't exactly think it would be considered "new" now...

I read your link and if you read #3 clearly it is a persons opinion and NOt fact!!

this is exactally how it reads:
3. They say parvo is NOT airborne, but as far as I am concerned it is. Consider the fact that a fly or bird can come in contact with an infected puppys vomit or feces and carry the virus to your home makes ME think it IS airborne!

Seems to me this person/s are clearly stating it is their opinion and NOT fact as of yet.

So I don't see how your gettiing your facts straight.

That entire site does nothing but promote holistic health...the owner states they they are not professionals or vets and you should seek their advice first. Not exactly an unbiased source, IMO.

The 2nd site is an old news story from Summer of 2005!

Again, this is very serious subject matter and the information being presented here is very misleading and could be very damaging. It is very scary to think that anyone might base the care of their dogs on it.

I just did a search, and this "NEW" virus has been around since 2006 which means it's NOT too new. I feel you're giving a lot of new puppy owners wrong info. PUPPIES NEED TO HAVE THEIR PUPPY SHOTS(PARVO INCLUDED). After that, then, I highly only believe in the 3 year rabi shots, as most states those are required. Sorry, but, I feel this holistic crap is just that CRAP!

Just because a bird flys doesnt make it airborne imo. A bird has to pick it up and carry it in the air then drop some bird droppings. If the bird didn't drop the infected feces or vomit it wouldnt effect us. So it still has to be a part of the environment on the ground.

Unlike the other strains of parvo (this appears to be the 7th mutation of the PARVO virus), this one may possibly be airborne. Apparently this has been brought to this country (USA) from Europe.

POSSIBLY AIRBORN..... so, what is the true story?

I have to say I personally love some holistic stuff, although with parvo I don't believe it can be cured holistically. Parvo is not something to mess with imo. It is treatable if done properly with vaccines and bleach routine cleaning.

I do use acidoplillis and other holistic things when it is an available and can properly treat symptoms.

no one has all the answers here... but, if there is a chance of making my dogs sick with parvo, and the vaccine companies are not doing any studies,
then, i can only assume it is about the money...
why arent they testing? since parvo is already widespread, there is no need to vaccinate.. the virus is everywhere causing healthy dogs to develop a natural immunity to it...
the science of natural immunity goes against the science of safe vaccines..
how many pets out there have auto-immune disoders?
start asking questions when a puppy dies suddenly...
was that puppy recently vaccinated?
