This thread is scary, holistic use to mean looking at the body as a whole mind/body interaction and you don't treat just a symptom, but look for factors contributing to that symptom. Now the word can be used by anybody, and many quacks are using the word. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing, and there is a great deal of difference between vaccinating and over vaccination. Holistic treatment can be downright dangerous, just because a plant is natural, it doesn't mean it's safe. People have this belief that if we can buy some herb it must be safe, this isn't true. The food and drug administration doesn't require testing on herbs that are not being sold as a specific remedy for something, so lots of these things have never been tested. The way holistic practitioners get around this is to not label the ingredients for any special treatment, just have "literature" on what such and such an herb will do. If you want to treat yourself with "Holistic" treatments, feel free to, you are only risking your health, but it's abuse to treat you dogs and children with much that is written as being holistic. Remember these "holistic practitioners" are selling you a product, and trying to convince you it's better than conventional medicine. Don't take their word for it, on something as important as your dog's health.

no kidding... i knew that... however, my ads are still there and i cannot access them to delete them.. i have notified puppyfind... i thought this was cleared up weeks ago.. but, it obviously is not yet resolved... i repeat, again,, those are my old ads, and i have tried to access them, with no
luck, and i have notified puppyfind again.. but, thank you for your concern...
mater and harlie are currently listed under yorkies.. but, i guess i could relist them under biewers and mixed breeds again to get responses...
then, i will have 20 listings for 2 puppies...

The article you posted seems to be the ONE source that states it is airborne, then in the very next sentence states dogs have to come into contact with it. No offense, but since you have spent a great deal of time here 'eductating' us on your recent discoveries and have made such a major decision to only have holisitc care for your animals after that you would have already discovered that information during all your research.

BTW, if you notice, tigger didn't state that it was the information that was confusing...although I think you may have further proven her point.

i did a search and they are claiming a new strain....airborne

there is definitely conflicting answers...but, new information is
unfolding.. undoubtedly being kept quiet... no one would want to blame the vaccines...

It is not air borne virus.

This information came off of one of the links you posted above,...it's a web forum, and you copied word for word what was posted much like this one, not exactly a reliable professional source. Nor were the other 2 sites that you posted...one of which even made that disclaimer on the site itself.

It seems like you are misinforming a lot of people here about a very serious issue by rapidly posting any information as you come across it but have not taken the time to study and read for yourself first.
