Do you mean spreading the disease is caused by vaccinating? Not unless the animal comes down with the virus. The vaccine is not administered into the dog's digestive tract...it's given intramuscularly...there is no way for the virus to come out in the dog's feces. |
There is a new strain of Parvo called the F-Strain that is extremely deadly. It is the seventh mutation of Parvo, there is NO vaccine for it, and it is possibly airborne. It is thought to have been brought into the U.S. from Europe. It affects small to medium sized breeds and Puppies are extremely susceptible. It is possible for a puppy to die within 24 hours of contracting it. Until a vaccine is available I STRONGLY urge and suggest NO SHIPPING!! Even if a puppy has completed their vaccinations, they are NOT protected from the new strain.
