WANTED AKC Puppy for AKC Jr. Handler in Georgia Looking for a quality pup for our daughter who is a AKC Jr. Handler member in GA. We just found out that our little guy is not going to make the standard. He is beautiful, but just too small at 3.0 lbs at 2yrs old. We attended a show last weekend at the Atlanta Expo center, and it was a great experience. However, when we tried to approach the other Yorkie handlers to chat and get info on other AKC breeders they just didn't want to deal with us. They were super unaproachable.... My girl left the show quite upset, but is determined to go to down to Perry in September, and show our boy again even if he is too small. With this kind of spunky attitude, I can't help but try to encourage her, and am now searching for a suitable pup to exhibit and handle. If anyone can advise us, we sure would appreciate it.

I have a male that's 5 weeks old. Though I'm not sure that he is show quality. I know the male that we used to breed is show quailty as his parents were both show dogs. The lady ended up sellig him to my friend because she was going through a divorce and it was just more than she could handle at the time. If you like I would be more than happy to send you pictures. I really hope that you find what you are looking for. Sounds like this is really something that your daughter wants to do. Have you thought about looking on the AKC website to see if you can find any information about this. What part of GA are you in? By the way Welcome.

Thanks Shiela, I really appreciate your offer, but you know what two boys together are like. The screams would be inhuman at our house..LOL. I am in Athens by the way. I noticed you have a Wyatt....Is he related to the current top Yorkie in the USA? His name is Wyatt also. I haven't seen him yet, but his name was bussed around constantly at the show last weekend. I did see two of his puppies in the ring, and they were absolutely fabulous! I believe they live in Mayretta (Marietta) I was hoping to get a mentor for my girl this weekend, but the lady who I was hoping to speak to lives in New Orleans, and I found out this morning her house is under 9 feet of water...Lord have mercy!!!! Thanks again Shiela. Georgie

Junior Handler I live in Murfreesboro and may be able to help. I believe I know who you are speaking of and she is an awesome lady. If your arrangements fall thru give me a call. I have several possiblities here that are vet checked and have good stifles and normal bile acid tests. I have always been disappointment that my two children did not show interest in the showring but maybe someday. These are champion sired along with being out of champion sired females. None of my female champions are bred now. It will be a great hobby or business with lots of fun times ahead. 615-867-0306 Brenda.

| I didn't realize Wyatt was even still being shown, I think you guys are thinking of the 3xBIS winner CH. Tyava's Sure Shot (chandler) who is a VERY nice boy. Quote:

Handler The junior wanting a dog to show is a old post. Little Shooter and Kayla both finished- each with a 5 point major and Kayla with 4 majors-Shooter two weeks ago and Kayla last weekend. This thread had to be started almost a year ago when I was thinking about placing Shooter. Now I'm glad I didn't . They both will be home this weekend and Shooter can start thinking about becoming a daddy dog someday.
