Looking for a quality pup for our daughter who is a AKC Jr. Handler member in GA. We just found out that our little guy is not going to make the standard. He is beautiful, but just too small at 3.0 lbs at 2yrs old. We attended a show last weekend at the Atlanta Expo center, and it was a great experience. However, when we tried to approach the other Yorkie handlers to chat and get info on other AKC breeders they just didn't want to deal with us. They were super unaproachable.... My girl left the show quite upset, but is determined to go to down to Perry in September, and show our boy again even if he is too small. With this kind of spunky attitude, I can't help but try to encourage her, and am now searching for a suitable pup to exhibit and handle. If anyone can advise us, we sure would appreciate it.
