| Try petfinder.com, the rescue section here, puppyfind.com, your local newspapers, and search rescues/humane societies/animal shelters in your area. Talk to local breeders and ask about breeder rehomes. Get in contact with other local yorkie owners and see if they can help direct you. Sign up at meetup.com for yorkie groups in your area and talk to other yorkie owners. Sometimes you just get lucky! With my Smokey, my best friend's mom called me and said her groomer got a yorkie in that needed a home and recommended me so the next day I went to pick him up and she GAVE him to me for no charge and he's been such a blessing. Anyways, I notice you said you are in Northern VA. I don't know where Remington is, but I'm in Leesburg!

| Really? It's nice to find someone on here that is close by. You are not too far from at all actually. Remington is a very small town and unless you know this area, most don't know where we are. I list N. VA because it's like listing DC - almost everyone knows N. VA, but nobody knows Remington. LOL! We are right in between Warrenton and Culpeper - literally, right in the middle of both. I am hoping that I have already found a baby... We have to travel a ways to get her, but I don't care! I can't wait to go and get her! We should keep in touch. Thanks for responding to my post.

I know what you mean about the N. VA thing. I think Nova should be it's own state with the way everything is "northern virginia"... which would be weird because it's underneath W.VA... meh.. whatever. Where are you going to get your baby? I can't wait to hear more about her!

| Absolutely we should have play dates! I can't wait to get her! I wish I knew how to post pictures on here...I would love to show her to you! We are getting her from a breeder in NC. She is going to get her fixed at the end of this month (she is a retiree) and we will be going out to pick her up some time in February. YEAH! Quote:
