| I'm sorry for your mom's loss, but to be honest, I don't know of anyone who would sell you a yorkie considering the risk of that happening again. You really need to contact a dog behavior specialist to help your dog get over it's agression issues. You are fortunate that the dog was in your family and not a strsngers dog, or worse yet a child. Dog agression should not be taken lightly. I'm sorry if that souinds uncaring, because I do care, I care about the poor little dog that had to die unnecessarily. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I am so sorry about the terrible tragedy. I believe from your post that you Mom will have her own condo and not living with you and your large dog correct? I would look on here on the for sale section. I am sure you know that your dog cannever be around small dogs again.

| I lost my Yorkie not to long ago also...I would talk to your mom first before getting another one. I understand that getting her one would fill her time, but she may need that time to recover. Let her decide and then you can help her pick out the perfect one. I would have been devastated if the owner of the dog that killed my dog just showed up with another one the next day. |

| Dear YTers, I want to thank you for your kind responses. Jessica is my darling daughter, and I could not have gotten through this tragedy without her, her husband, and my granchildren. I have my own home, so the puppy would be fine. Jessie and I did discuss it, and I do want a puppy. It would not take away from my sorrow, nor my grieving, but I know myself well enough. I would become too depressed over Gracie Leigh's loss if I didn't have a little one to take care of. Max might also be sad over her loss - I don't know. You are, as always, wonderful in your concern and wisdom. I'm responding so that you don't have to worry about some of your concerns.
