| show bloodlines Hi, I am flipflop and I have been in love with Yorkies for a while. Now, I think I will have the right time and environment to give one a home in our family. We have two old mixed breeds, one has Yorkie relations. I have a lot of questions, having had sighthounds always and I will have one again, of course one that can live with a small dog. How bossy can Yorkie males be, are they dominant toward other males? Can they live with big dogs? Everything else I heard is very positive, they are sweet, loyal, affectonate..., can they do Agility without sustaining injuries? I am looking for a showdog primarily, and one from the Ozmillion or Verolian kennel. They don't have a website and seem to stay very much in the background, but one dog was a winner at Crufts again, "Ozmillion Love in your Eyes". I think these dogs are so beautiful, and I like a longer neck and legs and a short body, all in good proportion and small ears. Living in the UK, some of you co-fans would have seen the Ozmillions at local shows. Is it worth writing to them in West Sussex? Would they sell a pup to a newcomer like me who is not a newcomer at shows, but to Yorkies. I have shown other breeds in Ireland and on the Continent. Hope all my questions are not too much trouble. thanks in advance! flipflop |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I don't know the answers to all of your questions but did want to welcome you to YT and bump your thread so that others might answer. Male yorkies can be bossy, but IMO, not as bossy as female yorkies. My experience from reading on the forums is that 2 male yorkies will get along better than 2 females. With the right supervision (and right dogs) I believe too that yorkies and larger dogs can live in the same house with few problems. I think that there are some members here that do agility with their yorkies. Although knee injuries are a concern with yorkies even if you don't do agility.
