| Looking For Yorkie in NY (or tristate area) Hello! (I'm new) I have been on a Yorkie search for about a year now. I live in NYC and it has been very difficult to find a reputable breeder here. I've seen many gorgeous Yorkies on this site. If anyone can recommend a breeder, it would greatly appreciated. I am willing to pay for shipping but I would prefer some place closer. I am hoping to spend around $400-900 for either a male or female (preferably male). A friend of mine suggested a place called 'International Kennel Club' in Long Island. They claim to get their pups from breeders and they seem to have a good rep as far as the overall health of the dogs. However, I have been told that ALL pet shop pups come from puppy mills. Please help me give a loving home to a new furbaby. |

| Little Boy in Indiana Hi, I have a little boy in Indiana and actually have placed a little girl in NY about 6 months ago. He will be 12 weeks old tomorrow. He is super sweet, should be about 4 1/2 lbs full grown. He comes with a 1 year health guarantee and limited AKC papers. Please PM me if you are interested. Here is his picture:

| hey oh if only you messaged me a couple days ago because I WAS looking for a yorkie in NY before I found my Dunkin. I had some threads that would have been useful to you but I've already deleted them. From the research that I've found, I wouldn't recommend buying from S&V quality pups or petitepuppy.com. There are mixed reviews but the majority screams PUPPY MILL. If you spend the time, you can find some NY area breeders her on YT. I would also consider looking into PA or NJ because I know there are reputable breeders there as well. If you want, PM me and I can help you dig up those threads that I was considering when looking for a puppy in NY. Good Luck! Pam |

You can check www.ytca.org for reputable breeders. Also, check here on YT. Have you considered a rescue dog or puppy. Please stay away from pet stores, puppy mills or puppy brokers which it sounds like that place on Long Island might be
