Actually the ref. of the pie bald comes out of the Webster Dic. , other research I have done is from the net on German sites and standards, ect... Information is hard to find since this breed is so new. But the pie bald is where the white comes from. Hope this helps. Sue

I too have emails from Germany from breeders there. I ask the breeder we use if she knows them and if they are a reputable breeder. We at this time will continue to purchase her Biewers. Have you been contacted by a Geertruida Moog (Trudy)? Sue I didn't keep the e-mails so I can't say who it was. Sorry.

Kathy, I have a parti male registered with AKC. If I had any puter ability I would post some of his pics as a youngster and his adult pic is in my avatar. The designation of parti by AKC is at their discretion after seeing the pics requested. The base color of the coat must be white with definite patches of other colors(s). The Biewer standard specifies where the markings must be and the color of them..My Remi could pass for a Biewer except for the fact that he is docked. He is USA born..

Angel Mia, I THINK Villette has put pics of my parti boy as well as my Biewers in my gallery. The litter of puppies that Remi (parti-AKC) sired that are a few days old fit the Biewer standard but actually, they are probably F1 hybrids. I am having the time of my life with these new babies. You would think I had just started breeding--I get so excited talking about my newbies..Their mom is very dark and the puppies are taking after her. I will keep these babies close for a while to see if they carry the aging gene.. My Biewer male, Cruiser, is a small boy and I am chomping at the bit to use him as a sire with my Biewer female, Ilsa. Remi and Ilsa could pass for brother and sister but they definitely will not be bred together..

you mentioned you want to see if the pups carry the aging gene.. What are you referring too, the parti gene? What are your thougths on the hybrids?? Do you plan on incorportating them in your Parti Yorkie line or Biewer line? I assume you have 2 'breeds' going Parti Yorkie and Biewers. Just trying to understand your post. Since I am firing away questions. Where do you plan on incorporating your Chocolate Yorkies?? Hugs, Irene | |
