I know I'm asking for a miracle, but I've talked to many breeders and they had offers just like I'm asking for; unfortunately I didn't get to it in time!

puppy It would be wise to spend as much time checking out the show breeder as the puppy...many breeders will place a puppy they think is good enough for a novice, but not good enough for them to show... Don't make the mistake of comparing Yorkie people to any other breeders..just a fact. I can speak of my own kind..LOL PS..I had a friend who had two winning Danes..both were given to her to show and the breeder retained stud rights, another got a Boxer that way...that usually does not happen to a Yorkie novice...best wishes

The part to this thread I found interesting was that she said I have been wanting a yorkie and then she mentioned again I don't mind CO-Owner as long as the breeder does not want to control MY life. It seems more as the mother wants the dog?? I dunno but thats what I thought in the way it was written. Deana Prestigeous

IMO, generally speaking you'd have to be just as cautious if placing a dog w/ a Jr. handler to be... I don't know why you'd let your guard down just on that account? Last edited by BamaFan121s; 11-08-2007 at 10:39 AM.

| If your daughter is doing well with the showing of the two breeds she already has, I would think some of the Yorkie breeders in your area at the shows she is showing at would be your best place to inquire for a puppy. They can see first hand your daughters ability and desire for showing. Have you tried that route yet? Caring for a Show coat in a drop coated breed is a lot of work. How old is your daughter?
