Shawn - I am so proud of you both (you and Keeper). Just keep practicing and he will learn and have the routine down pat. The first show is always the hardest, since they do not know what to expect. And you know Keeper's personality - he is really smart and if he thinks he can get his way he will try with certain things, but he is such a sweety. I had a hard time with Gigi there for awhile too. She did great on the table when younger and when she hit her teenage stage - she decided that she did not like the table. I just kept taking her to the shows and practicing and she is so much better now.
Keeper is really turning out so nice! I think this is just the beginning and looks like you will have a lot of fun with him. Congratulations!!

Shawn these are going to be the best memories of showing you will have.
Even thou you are nervous and learning etc. Nothing like sharing that experience with your dogs. I remember Squeakers first show like it was yesterday. God he is my heart! He made me look so good in the ring LOL
Even on the times we messed up we were having the time of our life.
I am hoping to get Keegans sister out soon.

I wanted to say that if you do not have a place like I described, a park is a good alternative. It is good to get them used to travel. Take them places and expose them to new people, short trips are best. It makes a world of difference. When you take a young pup out and about from a young age, you'll have less car sickness in most cases. Mine in training are raring to go every day.

Thank you for the advise Keeper is very out going and that helps alot. I work with mentally challenged people and try to take him to work with me and he loves it as do the people I work with Thank you again
