Who has a show coming up? Who has shows coming up? Where and when? Who are you entering? I was going to do Perry on the 14th, but they are only having Specialities on the 15th (Sun.) and no yorkie speciality. So Sunday is out. Right now I can only do weekend shows due to my job. I didn't want to drive all that way for a one day show. There is Montgomery AL on the April 28th and 29, or Clarksville TN (same weekend). T. |

This weekend we are off to Centralia shows. I am showing my young dog Mariahs Trail of Perception ( AKA Doobie) in the open class for the first time and I will have my new puppy dog from Shakespeare, his name is Shakespeare Daniel Boulud ( AKA Danny) My boys are great and we are going to have so much fun. Doobie is just a year old and already has his majors. Then on the 19th we head out for a trip to Idaho to visit Peggy and 4 days of showing and partying......Also this will be the first day my boyfriend is going to help show dogs, who da thought , he is really looking forward to it. He has been helping me at the shows and now he wants in the ring. This is going to be fun.......Good luck to everyone that is heading out to shows this weekend. |

I have a show coming up in Virginia Beach (ukc) and several akc shows and all breed matches in the coming months with my new little boy. Wishing the best to EVERYONE and good luck to you all this year! I hope everyone does well and has a ball with their yorkies! |

1 Attachment(s) Well, our next show is April 14 - 15th in Ottuma, Iowa. His 3rd, my second. This time of year there are alot of shows in the Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin area. Some of these locations have changed in 12 years!!! Go figure :rolleyes: I need to work on his table time. He draws back and does not want to stand. He is being a little brat. Spoiling him too much maybe. Anyway it sounds like most of you guys show in totally different regions than I do. Maybe someday I'll get to meet some of you guys. 1 Attachment(s) We just got a camper and busy fixing it up, since it is a used one. I am hoping too it will be so much easier than staying in a hotel. But you have to sign up early, if you can since the camper sites go fast. I heard that Newnan only had 40 spots and people are waiting at 7AM on Friday to get their spot. If you are not there by then - too bad. I have to work too on Gigi on the table, She does great walking the ring, but get her up on the table and she resists. We are working on this in class. Funny - she showed as a pup and no problem. I guess not working with her on this over winter didn't help. I haven't even tried Easy yet. I plan to work with her over Spring Break. I plan to show her too this summer and then she will be off with handler in the fall. Here is here photo I took last night. T. |

Nothing like the feeling of Chamioning your 1st dog....no, better yet taking a dog of your own breeding into the ring and have it start winning as a puppy. |

When is the Chesterfield show? Is it just yorkies or? Any place I could get some information would be great.. I'd love to go if I could make it home that weekend. :) |

Guess no one else is entered in the Watchung Mountain YT specaility in NJ on easter? Should be done early that day, the entries are low. Its like 9 dogs and 20 bitches |

Yes, I am still here. The show was cancelled because of the snow so we toured the battlefields and enjoyed the hot tub and room service. Thank you Tami. Deuce has his first point. As many of you know, Deuce ate tainted Eukanuba and almost died. It was a pleasure to see him back to normal and back into the ring. This was my dog Guy's (Ch Tsa La Gi I've Got Trouble) first show out as a Special. Even though he didn't take any BOB wins, I enjoyed showing him. He is new to me and we are just getting to know each other. When he gets comfortable with me at the end of the lead and gets his tail up, I think he will have a great career. Sorry for the confusion about VA Beach. It is the VA Beach Kennel Club but the show is in Chesapeake, VA. It is an AKC show. Myrtle Beach Kennel club is the same weekend. Both shows close this week. Let me know if any of you are going to VA and I will enter. If not, I will go to SC. I don't care which one I go to as long as it is at the beach. Just get me away from this snow! Laurie |
That's a "big weekend" with shows in several places: April 28 & 29th - Claksville TN, Lake Waccamaw NC (inside horse ring), and Montgomery AL. Montgomery AL starts on that Friday - 27th. I am thinking of doing one of them with both Gigi (is Tsa-La-Gi too) and Easy, but not sure which show to go to yet. Then in May is: 10th - 13th Perry GA - I plan to be here. 19th - 20th - Beaufort SC (outside) and Jackson TN 26th - 27th - Harriman TN - I might be here at this one. Depends on my schedule. For June - anyone going to the Tampa or Orlando FL shows? I was thinking maybe and this way I can visit family. I just got my premium list for the Oklahoma shows - May 17 - 20th. They will also have the Yorkshire Terrier Oklahoma Speciality show and includes the Central Oklahoma Toy Dog Show. Too far for me though. These are all AKC shows. T. |
