| First Show/Match Shots! Okay, I came across some really old photos of myself with my yorkies. And thought it would be great if everyone could send in their first show/match photos. Here is one of mine from 1979! This is Chrissy - my very first yorkie at the Gold Coast Yorkshire Terrier Club Match in Florida. Boy, was I young then. She was just a pet, but I guess you have to start somewhere. In the "My Yorkie" forum I added a new thread of a photo with me and my next yorkies. Time really has flown by! So go through your albums and please send in your first shots of your first show/match. I would love to see everyones photos, especially with New Year's right around the corner - great way to reflect! T. |

| This is me over 25 years ago. And get a look at Frank Sabella!!! This 7 month old Shih Tzu took Winners Bitch, Best of Breed and a group 1 and almost Best in Show!! I think my daughter went Best Jr. Handler that day also. She was only 10. It was a great day. Tazz , shown for Sandy Acton.jpg To be young again...... |

| You are so right - to be young again. Ahhhhh! It is hard getting old. Can you believe I was married in that photo. We couldn't have kids at this time, so that is how I got into yorkies. Been a long time! It is neat to look at the style of clothing back then too! I will have to see if I can find more photos. dray - wow! What a day you and yor daughter had! Isn't it nice to remember? Yes! You have been in showing a long time too. We do have a lot of experience on YT! Now, let me go look for some more old photos! This is fun!! T. |

| Here is one of me winning with my own puppy I bred Becky - Mayfair lines! We were winning Best in Match here at the Gold Coast YT club in Florida. This was such an honor - she showed with some of the yorkies from Shelby, Joyce Watkins, Kaacey Lynn and more! I think this photo was the following year as the first one - 1980. Yeap - still a baby at 22! And I think that was Terence Childs judging, if I can remember. T. Last edited by topknot; 12-18-2006 at 04:46 AM. |

Not an easy task to show a Black but this girl finished very fast. Am. Can. Int. Ch Stardust Tailor Made.jpg this is me at fifty something, showing my Am./Can./INt.Champion Stardust Tailor Made The one thing I have noticed is that it is very hard to get off the ground!!!!! |

| @Dray: I looked at the picture with your great Ch. Sturdust Tailor Made and I thought I knew this pic... Yes I really know it cause the sister of my girl was shown at that show too, I think she became Winners bitch she?s called Sweet Magic?s A Moment to Remember and was handled by Jennifer Shaw that day, maybe you saw her? I love all these pics, some of you are in the buissness for such a long time, great! I hope I can say in 50 year too, look that was me showing with about 20

| Yes Jennifer is great I love her handling she really does a great job. OMG all girls in heat, poor Tailor and much poorer Jennifer The sister of my girl finished very fast I think during one week and came back. She is cute and a great mover, the only thing is that she?s a little bit small. She had her first littler some months ago, but maybe this will be her only one, cause she needed and Cesaerian section for getting one puppy. But this puppy is smashing, it?s a boy and he is much taller than her. I think she stays small cause she and her litter mates lost her mother just one day after birth and had to be feeded by hand. She was such thin that we thought she wouldn?t do it, but she fighted and finally really did it. My girl and the brother are both taller as they where from the beginning. But she will be the show lady than. No, I really think your boy is great, love also your other dogs (I visited your website), they have so much expression in their faces, real cuties! I just love Yorkies with expressive faces, here in Europe you sadly often see them without, and with very long muzzles and so on especially in Germany. It?s a pity!
