I was able to watch an AKC dog show when they did it in town and it was really quite fun to see yorkies at their best. . . and the silkiest hair ever. My Annika's cousin placed and so that got me thinking that maybe I too can show her off LOL even if she does not win Just for fun!

I know I don't usually have the best of luck in life and I was trying my best to make sure I wasn't the one supporting puppy mills and brokers. I didn't want to be caught unaware with a puppy with severe health problems because I chose to purchase a pet from the pet store. I rather have peace of mind in knowing that my Yorkie has had someone looking out for his best interests since day one. Anyway I am so glad you were able to attend that show in GA. It's always great to go to that kind of thing, but even better to be able to cheer a friend on.

| Tiger's Mom - KeeKee with the bow is only 17 months old and Gigi is only just 6 months. In Open class - is where you get the points, most of the time. Those dogs are most often 3 and 4 years old, especially at a bigger show (18 + yorkies count). They will be going off later with a handler when they are ready. Easy, my oldest girl 22 months old, will go off first in Jan. with our handler. Parkside Yorkies - are very very very nice. Marie Kaufman Cardona is the owner of this line and they are very thought after. They have a real regal appearance and excellent quality. Good luck Princesa getting a yorkie from her. You will be very fortunate. It was Parkside's Just Kidding that was showing in the Open Dogs class. My male Pepe has Parkside in his line: Pete Sake and Safari (both champions). T. Anyway my son and I were watching a dog show in TV a few weeks ago. We both are clueless as to how they judge especially when its i guess a "Best in \Show" title. I am assuming that that is where there are all kinds of breeds showing. I mean how in the heck would you pick a the best out of a group of dogs that are so diverse. I guess at the same time, I am one of those people who doesnt get the Ms. Universe pagent when the have all those beautiful women representing all the countries in the world, and the judges have to pic one. WHEW! | |
