Good plan. Hopefully by then you'll love her no matter what kind of hair she has. | |

| My little girl yorkie's coat looks a lot like that and she is 5 months old. She is losing her puppy coat and growing in her adult coat. But I am not worried about it because I have her brother who is now 1 year old and his coat did that too and ended up being SO soft and silky and long. Well, I keep it cut in a puppy cut, but if I wanted to grow his hair long I would have no problem with it. |

| She is only 5 months , she needs time to grow a coat . A true silky coat don't grow over night . |

| Is this your first yorkie? If it is then you should probably get some books on the breed and learn more about it. And go to some dog shows and talk to the show breeders. Most people that plan to go into showing, go to a lot of shows and study the various lines and pedigrees before they buy their dog. |
