| ![]() He does look awfully big for a four month old pup. I don't think it is that unusual for them to break a four months. There is always the possibility that he can go light.

| ![]() There are not that many show breeders that come to this forum and the ones that do post here have yorkies under 7 lbs. It is hard to judge the weight of a yorkie just looking at a picture because bone structure has a lot to do with how much weight a yorkie can carry. Some yorkies are very tall and lean and others have short cobby bodies. Your best bet would be to start attending some dog shows. The YTCA has their specialty in February in New York City. It would be great if you could attend a specialty show because you will see many yorkies at one show. You can also go to infodog.com to find shows in your area.

| ![]() It's always tough to tell with just pictures, however I think you could show him. Depending on what your goals are, If I were you I would get him walking on lead, get some stacking blocks and practice that, then enter him in a show in a couple of months and see how he does. If you haven't shown before see if you can take a few classes to practice your own skills. I say have fun and give it a shot. You will probably enjoy it, the time with your dog will be awesome, and you will probably meet some interesting people. Good luck and have fun with your puppy! |
