And you are right I only saw the website today. And everyone is entitled to an opinion. However, this is not about partis, chocolates, blues, golds, oranges, or apples. It is about a champion boy that Rosemark has stated went from her home to another trusted friend who championed him. That person broke her trust and sold him to another. That person then sold him again to Crestwing. How would the lady from Crestwing had known that 2 people prior to her was the untrusted one? Why does she get the brunt of it? She didnt break anyones trust so how does this fall under "backdoor"? Maybe I am misunderstanding what that term means. The OP sold the original fella with full registration, did the first owner pay higher for that privilege? How about the 2nd? or the 3rd? When show prospects are sold do they not have a higher price tag and/or co-ownership? My opinion is that if you do not want a dog bred or shown you spay/neuter. However, I do not expect everyone to do that or believe that. That is what makes it an opinion. But some people are pushing their opinions and in a not so nice way. That is wrong. Plain and simple. I also support ethical breeders. I have not seen anything to say that the new owner is anything but. I do not know her. |

Is it okay to come on an open forum and make libel statement? Just wondering. |

I don't think she made any statement that is libel. This is an open forum. |

Roseanne did sell the dog on full registration on co-ownership. The co-ownership was lifted when the dog was Championed. |

Hmmmm. I would have to hear that from a lawyer. So how does a self proclaimed BYB go from BYB to showing ? |

"Yes Diane Henry was owner of Marshall. She sold him to a friend of mine. I told her if she ever decided to sell him I would love to give him a home. So I am pampering Marshall in my home now." That was where I got my facts from, no assumption there. Went from Rosemark, to Diane, to a friend, to Crestwings' hands. 4th home...in ?? how old is this guy? Roseanne did not say she sold him on a co-ownership in her post that I could see. |

A backyard breeder who is successful in selling puppies may decide to expand and become a puppy miller -- someone who breeds dogs with profit as the one and only motive and concern. More often, though, backyard breeders simply allow the dogs they have to breed, and they often keep many of the offspring. They frequently end up with too many dogs to care for properly. Backyard breeders get new dogs from a variety of sources, among them from ads offering dogs "free to good home" |

Back onto the subject. I am glad that the lady from Crestwing states she is now pampering Marshall. That should be what counts the most here. |
"On the Internet, where abnormal behavior is the status quo, tempers can flare in the heat of debate and word wars can last for days or even weeks. It's not uncommon for users to ridicule, harass or insult those who disagree with them. But if you damage someone's reputation by trying to embarrass them in a public forum, you could be sued for libel or defamation. After all, there's no reason to assume that the messages you send through cyberspace are immune from lawsuits." |
