Yes he is maturing, he will be 8 months on Oct 14. He is changing really fast. He is kinda of in that clumsy teenage stage. But he is my pretty boy. He is really getting interested in my girls so I have to watch him like a hawk. But I'm really proud of him.

Wrapping the coat in oil protects it from breaking and keeps it conditioned. I keep him in oil all the time. To grow his coat I comb and massage him in the oil. He loves his daily massage. I think it stimulates the blood flow to the skin and it promotes growth. I have tried read and gather as much information as I can about coat care. There is a ton of info in past threads on YT. Your little boy is really handsome. His length of hair and the beauty of it reflects how dedicated you are in his care. You have done a great job with him. Is he a cottony yorkie....you should be really proud of him.

Thanks I think he is handsome too, but I'm his mommy.So I'm kind of partial. No his coat is not cottony, It looks like it in one photo but he had just had his bath and it was really full. He still has really black puppy coat on the ends also. However his new growth is a nice dark blue and silky. It is definitely work but I enjoy it. I just throw pillows on the floor and we go to work. He love's it sometimes...not so much when I wrapping his coat. He pouts the entire time as if he is being tortured. But I keep him bribed with treats.
