Now the other thing I just thought of, if you're gonna grow her out, you will lose breeding time......keeping a girl in coat while with whelp is such a pain and takes alot of special care.

She isn't due to come in heat for six months so that will give it time to start growing so I can see if the texture stays silky. If not, I won't grow her out. I won't fight that coat the way I have been doing.

I'm gonna PM you with a couple of things that may help.

She looks a lot like my Brooklynn at both ages and stages (from the pictures of course) I can't say anything because I haven't had my hands on her but Brooklynn was a cotton coated black bitch and turned clerical grey when I buzzed her down and if the coat grew back it always came back black and her son Harvey who was a modified silk better gold than his mom but was very dark not black you remember Harvey Mary but when I shaved him down he was what I still call a clerical grey and when I've grown his coat back it's dark again....but again I'm only going on what I've experienced and of course I'm only going by what I see in the pictures without having touched the pretty girl
