| Friday and Daizee are half sisters Hi, I searched to see if there was any information on Hob Nobbin and your thread came up where you had just purchased "Friday." Congratulations! I just recently purchased a little female who I guess would be a half-sister! LOL! My puppy's father is Hob Nobbin of Heritage Hill and the mother is Shazia's Lil Lea of Heritage Hill. I am most excited about my puppy too. Hob Nobbin has a wonderful Pedigree and Lea does also. I looked for a whole year before I finally found just the "one" and feel extremely fortunate! I have never been in a position of being able to show a dog although I have always had a dog my whole life. Almost all were rescue's and of course I never had papers with the exception of a poodle and a Maltese. However, I am interested in showing Daizee if she ends up being "show" quality. Right now I was told she is show material. Have you ever shown a Yorkie before? I really don't have any idea how much work, time, and money is involved but have a feeling it is substantial. My puppy is realllllly cute. She was one of three females. Her ears were already up (neither of her siblings were yet) and she is cute as a button. She weighs 1 lb 9.5 ounces at 10 weeks. We think she will weigh between 3 to 4 pounds but according to chart, she will probably weigh 4 pounds. She is dainty! Would love to keep in touch with you. Am not sure how to go about learning to show her but know I need to start some training now. I had been in touch with a dog trainer from Boca Raton (who owns several Yorkies) that knows a lot of Yorkie Breeders she wanted to put me in touch with when I first started looking for one and she could probably point me in the right direction. If you have any suggestions for me, I would love to hear from you. I will take some pictures of Daizee this weekend. Daizee's Mom |

Tangletop Blockbuster and Halle. You must have purchased your female from Renee, my first one was from her Lil Lea. I am in process of taking MAGIC to confirmation classes, he is doing wonderful, I plan on showing with Lori & Friday. Enjoy your pup, I do mine. Gail & 6 weeloves |

YT 1000 Club Member | normagertz, I had actually started my search before I got my first Yorkie Maggie in 2006. I had Catherine's website saved in my favorites since then. I was hoping to purchase a female from a friend who had bred her female with Hob Nobbin but she only had 2 girls and at the time they were already spoken for. Then another friend had just purchased a female from Catherine and she told me that Catherine was expecting 5 litters. So I got up the nerve to call and it was about a week before the first litter was due. I looked at her site and decided that I wanted a pup from Manda Lea. When I talked to Catherine I told her this and she said to wait to see what she had because there was no guarantee she would have any females. So I said If she does have a female and she looks to be show quality then that is the one I want. well Manda had 2 boys and 1 girl 2 days before she was due and Catherine went into the hospital a few days later. to make a long story short, I got the girl I wanted and I am very happy with how she has turned out so far. This is my first time showing a dog period, but I have always had a dream to do this. I was always watching the dog shows on TV. I do know with showing you have to not only have the money for the , show, grooming supplies, food, lodging, and anything else I may have forgotten. I am currently taking her to conformation classes and doing the basic obedience training I learned from a different class at home. I groom her daily and work with her on her stacking and looking at her teeth. The best advice I could give you is to get some books or videos on showing and take a conformation class. It is better to start her training now rather than waiting because this is the optimal time for puppies to learn. Oh and if she isn't already get her started in crate training. She will spend alot of time in it at shows. I Most definitely will keep in touch with you.

| Hi, thank you so much for the reply. It is great emailing owners of the same line as Daizee. Yes, you are right, it is interesting that you have a dog from Lil Lea also. Is it a female or a male? How old is it and do you have pictures you could email me? Just joined Yorkietalk and don't know the rules but if it is not against them would you please email me at normagertz@aol.com. I have more questions and don't want to bore everyone else. |

| I own one of Hob Nobbin's puppies Hi Everyone! I purchased a yorkie from Catherine's granddaughter on October 12, 2008. So far, she has been a really great yorkie. The Sire is Hob Nobbin and her Dam is Sara Lea of Heritage Hills. Sara Lea is owned by Catherines grand daughter. I named my puppy Bella. I was wondering if everyone could also share some photos of their puppies with me. Bella was born July 19, 2008 and is going on 4 months. I would like to see pics of some of her half-siblings, if possible just to see how she may/may not look once she is a little older. Thanks everyone! |

Here mom is Manda Lea I think maybe the dams of our pups may have come from the same litter. I will have to ask Catherine. or you can look on Bella's papers and see who the parent of your Dam are. That would probably be easier and faster since Catherine doesn't go on line much these days. cde 023.jpg 6 months firstshow 031.jpg 7 months bathday 034.jpg8 months IMG_1213[1].JPG 7 weeks

| Thank you everyone for providing me with pics and/or valuable information. I wish I could have had the chance to meet Catherine personally, but her granddaughter who lives in IL, has told me so many great things about her and the love she has for her yorkies. I just received Bellas pedigree not too long ago from AKC so I am going to take a look at it. Thanks so much! |

Thank you, It's funny because I was supposed to get a puppy from someone else who had a litter sired by Nobby. But that didn't work because she only had 2 females and they were promised already. Then another breeder friend told me about Catherine expecting 5 litters. I had been wanting a pup from her since 2003.Just because when I saw her website and saw that she was previously Lorilea Kennels. Well crazy but Lorilea was a nickname my friends called me. It took me awhile to get up the nerveto call her, I mean who was going to sell a show quality Yorkies to someone they didn't know just because they said they were going to show the dog. Well we talked on the phone for almost 2 hours. I told her I wanted a female pup with show potential. and the sire had to be Nobby. so that left 4 litters I could choose from. Well I said to Catherine I really only have 2 choices because 2 if the females always had tiny pups. So that left Manda Lea and Haley. But for some crazy reason Manda Lea kept popping in my head so I told Catherine that if Manda had a girl she would be the one. Now being a great breeder she tried to tell me she may not have any girls and if she did she may not be the one I want. But I can tell you that the day Gail and I drove there to see all the litters I held Friday in my arms and the rest is history. Which is a good thing because there wasn't any girls from Haley and the only other choice would have been Halle's litter but they had different sires. Friday and I have a very unique bond. Since the day we met we both knew that we were meant to be together. I guess you could say she is my twin soul.

Here is Eli @ almost 9 months old. It's funny because he looks like the pic of Friday @ 7 months most of the time, he just will not leave his top knot in. We call him our little sheep dog cause most of the time we cant see his eye's. Friday is growing into a beautiful girl.
