I will try to get a current picture of my Yogi tomorrow. It is so hard for me to do pictures, especially of him. I used to have tons of pictures of Yogi as a pup and his head was so gray. My computer crashed and I lost all his baby pictures.

I hate those crashes. I had 900 megs of pics to burn to a disk before restoring my hard drive.

Now you have to take lots of pics to make up for it I would love to see some.

My girl Princess' back is not the steel blue like the standard, but her gold is nice and she's got the dark on the end of her tail.

Good morning ladies,
I have spent most of the morning doing research on the pedigrees of Lacey Bug, Achilles and Mazy Mae.
I found one champion on both Mazy Mae and Achilles in the fifth generation. Lacey Bug has one in her fourth and six in her fifth on the mothers side, and two in the fifth on her fathers side. Not real good but I think it is a start.
Thank you for directing me to the AKC pedegree on line.
Is Lacey too old to maybe start her in the ring? Sorry for the dumb question but I am lost. I will do some research to find a good and knowledgeable mentor in my area.

One thing I did with Ceasar is a did an internet search on one of the names in his line and it brought me to another yorkie with the same line and I was able to get back two more generations.

I noticed that the light bouncing off of princess in her pics on your avatar makes her appear blue, do you consider her to be blue or black?

If you mean my avatar, that is Ceasar's pic. He is currently black and gold, but his head has that in between kind of bluish grey. I am hoping he gets a nice blue color, but I have read on here that the black takes a little longer to turn, so we shall see. He's 6 months now. I still have a lot to learn about coats and all too. His seems to be true silk, so that's a plus.

Thank you so much, I just ordered it. I have a collection of yorkie books but none have much on breaking patterns. Just in the last two weeks Buddy (who just turned 8 months) has started to change color quickly. I will have to post new picks this weekend now that his hair is growing back out. In the last ones it was right afer a haircut that took him down to just over 1/2 in!!
