If I had a choice I would go on Wednesday because it will be less crowded and you would have more time to visit with other Yorkie people. If you are not a member of the local Yorkshire Terrier Club then it might be a good opportunity meet some of the members and possibly join. They could probably use your support.
I do not recommend taking dogs to the show that are not entered and it is usually requested that you do not but I know some people do it anyway. You could be exposing your dogs to some unknown virus that sometimes goes around at shows.
