| Yorkie in Illinois available I have a friend who must get rid of her little guy due to family illness. His name is Maxwell Smart and he weighs 11 pounds. He is going on 11 months. Max is very smart indeed. He is completely housetrained and knows several basic commands. Max isn't neutered and Barb has no objections to him being bred if his weight isn't an issue. She also is ok with him being altered if need be. She does want a warm and loving person to own him so she is asking for personal references as well as a vet reference. If you are interested in Maxwell and live close to Kankakee Illinois, please e-mail her and tell her about yourself. The adoption fee is $500.00 but that isn't etched in stone as far as I know. Barb's e-mail address is blplante@sbcglobal.net. |

| The situation has changed a bit. Max belongs to a work friend. The illness in the family turned out to be her father. I just found out that he died last week so I guess the reason she had to move in with her parents is a null point. I don't know her mothers condition and she isn't at work for me to ask. I will find out as soon as possible though and provide a photo. Thanks for the suggestion. |

| Yeah, timing is bad for me too. I would love to just foster him until she can have him back but we have a three dog limit in our town but my husband would shoot me before the village came knocking on our door. |

BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | she may want to lower the adoption fee. $500 is pretty steep. I just adopted a 8 month old 4 pounder for $300. just a thought. I hope he finds a great forever home! Good luck to your friend! |

I hope this little guy finds a good home, too. Best of luck. Did you adopt your pup in Indiana and where? I am not really ready to get a new pup but several people have suggested adopting. I am just curious what adoption agency you used. Thank you. | |

| Well, Max gets to come home to his Mom. She will no longer be needed to take care of her father and can move back into her own place. Good news for Maxwell Smart. Thanks to everone for suggestions and caring. If you tried contacting Barb vie email she said she is sorry she didn't have time to get back to anyone because things happened so fast. They thought her father would live for quite a bit longer but with around the clock care. |
