For us it has worked out REALLY well. Bernie and Ginger have already become good friends, play together well, and are great on walks. BUT, we had a good feeling about him from the beginning. The important thing to remember is that this rescue has approved you. They want to match the right dog with the right family too. If you have strong doubts, you could always check out the next yorkie they get (is this a yorkie rescue or general rescue?)BUT, if you think he's the right dog for you, then go for it! Looking forward to hearing what you decide! Good luck!

| Hey, I think that as long as animals don't have a BAD (aggressive, fighting) reaction to each other, you're doing GREAT! I say, go ahead and adopt him if he is tugging at your heart. I bet your first dog will enjoy his company, and it could bring some interest and energy to his last years.

| Yes, I'm calling Winston's rescue counselor today, on the advice of his foster, to see if I can arrange a 2-day trial over the weekend...see how Tahoe adapts to having Winston in the house. See if he's more comfortable in his own domain...and see if he interacts with him. I think it will be positive, but we'll see. ~ Kelly
