| When that picture came up it is something I will never forget. As I read the bio I was like OM goodness. What are people thinking, on bended knee I would beg for care for my dogs. Don't think I have not. I also could of went a lifetime without seeing that picture but I did and I know it exists and all I can do is pray for those dogs suffering at the hands of some harmful people.

| She was with a her family that loved her very much, but could not afford vet care for an aged Yorkie..wouldn't it have been better for the rescue to pay the vet bills for the family...which they paid anyway to get her dental done and allow her to stay where she was happy and loved...? This fragile old dog has very few months of her life left..she looks like she has cateracts..no wonder she is stressed...her life is changed and she does not understand where her family went without her... I was in the animal shelter parking lot one time and a man came to drop off a dog..his kids were crying, but he said he could not afford to go to the ER vet..the dog broke it's leg. I called my vet at home, he put a cast on it and he paid me back a few dollars a week until it was all paid 100%...all he needed was a helping hand...and my vet only charged for cast and meds... |

| This is not right. why can't there be a love account for people who love to own a pet but just don't have the money to take them to the vet. If I was a Vet I would do that. if they truly didn't have it I would treat the pet with little cost of none. I know many Vets that will not even take payments. My vet I have use many years, stop taking any kind of payments at all. I sorry but to me that shows its all about money and not the love of the pets. I Know that they have a high market up its not even funny. I called around one day to see what some other vet charge me to cut their tails off. My Vet charge me $36.00 for the first puppy and $20.00 for each puppy after. I found to my surprise that My Vet was way out of line on her pricing. Most every Vet I called it was $20.00 for the first and $5.00 each puppy after. I ask my Vet. To make a long story short I don't use her anymore. The Vet I have now is wonderful and very fair. Some Vet are into it for the money some are into it for the love of pets. This is really to bad. that no one would stepped in and help the little dogs owner out. I know it would kill my little guy if he was place in a new home. GOd be with people who are like this. Blessing Debbie |

I have mentioned something like this before and I don't think a single person agreed with me. In my opinion I think when a dog gets to this point and especially at this age it is time to do right by them. My grandmothers own vet even said the same. She did everything in her power to keep her last 3 dogs living as long as possible. The vet told her that sometimes it isn't always the right thing to do. I have seen so many of the rescue groups who seem to put these dogs through so much. I often wonder if they are truly trying to help some of these dogs or fatten their wallets. Poor thing.. she looks so unhappy.

| [SIZE="3"]Yes, that is why i never look at petfinder, all i wanna do is adopt them all and love them to death. I really dont understand people how can you be so heartless? But you know what really ticks me off? Stupid people specially here in Miami. Yorkies are not supposed to be 2 pounds, to me that is just wrong. My Coco is 4 pounds, and you know what so idiots here have told me? "oh your yorkie is big" ......WTF???? What do you mean my yorkie is big? Why because she is healthy at 4 pounds and not some poor little 2 pound dog that i can put in my hot leather purse and walk around miami with it like its just another accessory? You get that alot here but i have learned to be so nasty when i get comments like that when im out. I chose to buy her like that, i didnt want a socalled "teacup" that doesnt excist!!! I didnt want a runt, i wanted my baby just like she is and i wouldnt care if she was 12 pounds, i would still love her. SIZE]
