i've been thinking about your pups all night. i'm going to discuss it with my fiance'. i have a three yr old male yorkie now. i feel for your situation. i live in s.jersey. i'm willing to drive. i have a huge fenced yard and we work opposing shifts so someone is always home. we don't have any kids so they could get tons of attension.

Thank you so much to everyone who PM'ed me for support and ideas -- this community is so wonderful! We are bringing them to Rhode Island on Monday to see Snickers and we are so very excited. Snicker's Mom started a thread and would like some help/ideas on bringing them into her home -- for those of you that are familiar with this situation. Again, thank you to everyone that made this an easier process for us.] It is so very hard, but I know they will be happy. I look forward to seeing how they are doing on YT!!!

I live in the UK, but hey given half a chance i would have them and all the other lonely yorkies out there. My little Izzie would willingly share her bed, bowls and bedroom.

One of the saddest moments in my life was having to leave them....i wanted to stay all day! But I am so very happy that they are at a great home and will have a great new sister to play with (not to mention some cute kids too!) Keep us all posted, snicker's mom.......I know I'll be on to see how they are adjusting.....please let me know if you need any help or have questions.....i can probably explain most of their quirky behaviors

Some day might be 5 or so years down the road for us, but I already know I'll be having these wonderful pets in my life again....the house is so quiet and lonely now, and they became best friends with us.....

I am so sorry i know this is hard on you... we will take the BEST care of your babies and you could have stayed as long as you wanted it was really nice to meet both you and derek i am sorry it was a little crazy with the furkids but i am sure that will be something time will heal... in the meantime they are gatting lavish attention from everyone esp the kids - my daughter esp loves boomer and my son is partial to karma. They both had walks and baths last night and they both ate and drank well (i knew that was a concern of yours) I had boiled some white rice in case but it appeared i didnt even need it and they are already going on the pads not on the floor i am sure ppl on the forum can help with getting them more acclimated with snickers (well more like the other way around) and snickers is still in training so i will speak with her trainer too... hope this makes you feel a little better .... | |
