I was thinking about this thread all night. I can't image how you feel. Maybe you can find another place that allows you to have the furbabies. You can tell that you LOVE them so much. Keep us posted and I will be praying that you can find a way to keep the little ones...and if not, we are all here for you to give you support

Hi! 1. First off, there is no adoption fee. They are both free. ![]() The single most important thing to me is that they get love, attention, and space to play, so I don't need money, just the right family. 2. This needs to be a VERY long-term home for them. We've moved them once and it was very stressful for them and they didn't act like themselves for a week or two....it was scary. This needs to be as permanent as possible. 3. They MUST go together, absolutely no exceptions. I don't think they could live without each other...... If you are interested, please read the rest of this information carefully. I will give you guys every single relevant detail I can think of -- there is no reason to hide anything, because I want this to truly be a forever home for them and I know I cannot give them that. The reason we have to leave them: The area I live in is not pet-friendly, and we are being forced to leave the area we are in for job shortages. We did have a fenced-in yard, etc for them, but even if we find a city apartment that allows pets, they will be so restricted and will not get to play outside at all. Grass will be rare. I love these guys to death, and it would make ME happy to keep them, but it would make them miserable, and they are so young and deserve to have a secure home where they can have plenty of love, attention, and play. Here's the individual scoop on each dog: Boomer -- male, neutered, 2 years old. Six pounds, give or take a little. He is the larger of the two. He was sick when he was 8 weeks old with coccidia and ringworm (the breeder paid for all of the issues, thankfully). He has since never been sick and never had any other health problems. He is very playful with new people and children, and he is great with DOCILE animals. He is not okay with loud and rough people or with other animals that are not friendly. He reads that aggression -- he doesn't attack, but will bark a lot at them. He is a TOTAL LAP DOG -- he loves to be pampered and pet and have treats and lounge around the house with you. He is the best kisser ever (haha) and LOVES to give kisses and love. Karma -- female, spayed, 2 years old. Five pounds, give or take a little. Very healthy, never sick even once. She gets nervous around new people, but will warm up in 5 minutes, sometimes less. She loves to play with squeaky-toys (we'll have their favorites for you!) and play fetch and toss them around. She can jump SO high! She is the energetic one, though if you can wear her out by playing or going outside, she will collapse on your lap to watch TV and hang out. About both of them (tricks and tips): *They both LOVE LOVE LOVE to play outside, even in the snow. *They sleep together in a black crate at night, every night. *They go on pads indoors, but also will go outside if trained at your home. *Don't leave people food within their reach. They are good problem solvers and will get it!! *If you cannot have a fenced-in area for them to play outside each day, they really need to be walked outside every day for 10 minutes. They are not perfect on a leash, but will obey to basic commands and to their names. *They play together a LOT when they get bored, and sometimes it seems like they are fighting, but we've learned to just let them go and that they are having fun. Must be a brother/sister relationship! *They are not littermates, but were picked up together on the same day and have never, ever been apart. *They eat Beneful dry food and water.....eat Milkbones and Greenies for treats. I can't think of much else to say now. Whoever ends up taking them will get an earful and probably all of it written down from both myself and my boyfriend. I am probably a little overbearing with this stuff, but their safety and happiness is just paramount to me, and I want it to be that way for you as their new owner also. Hopefully, since there is no adoption fee, it will be easier for a truly loving family to come get them or meet with myself and Derek somewhere to get them. PM me for my number if you would like to talk more, or ask questions in the thread and I will gladly respond (I'll check 1-2x/day). I was thinking we had about a month to spare before we needed to do a pickup, but it is looking more and more like it needs to be ASAP. Thanks everyone for your help. I knew this should be my first and only stop for my babies..... -- Traci

They are absolutely adorable!!!!! Wish you would consider a city gal to have them. I too live in an apartment and have no fenced yards. But lots and lots of LOVE. My concern would be the leash thing since in the city they must be on a leash. Can you email me privately w/ your tele#.
