I think placing pets using this forum is safe and a good idea...however, if a dog has a special medical need or suffers from behavioral issues, THEN they should be turned over to Rescue organizations to properly place them with a suitable home. ~ Kelly

| If I did not love my fosters so much, I would love to divy them out to all of you who are so against rescue, starting with the biter and the old man who is blind and deaf. Then we can do the one who has colitis.... that is fun! Oh..and the one who cannot control his urine output was a good one! Of course you will all respond and say that you would love to...but can't because rescue has them. Well now...why not go to the shelters and start taking them into your homes? One of you did not take a rescue because your pup did not like it, yet you say you would take 50 into your home. This is it for me on this thread....post away. I am done. You can lead a horse to water........... You all have a lot to learn about the sad state of affairs with yorkies. They are being overbred by the millers and byb because they are second on the popularity list; and they are in shelters every day of the week because of uneducated people who thought they were getting a toy dog to dress up! I am not on a high horse at all...simply trying to educate the people who profess to have such a love for this breed and such so called respect for rescues. You like whatever rescue you choose to like based on friendships I suppose...whatever the issue is, I will not make it mine. I am going NO EMAIL on this list. This is so pointless. |
