| Tuff & Huck need new homes. Hi Everyone! This is very hard for me, but I am having to find a new home for 2 of my yorkies. Tuff's birthday is August 28, and he is 2 years old. Huck will turn 2 on January 16th. They were both rescued from bad breeders. Tuff is AKC registered and has champion bloodlines. Huck is unregistered, but is still very adorable. I have tons of clothes for them, some even monogrammed, that I will give to the person they go to. I am HOPING I can find them a home together. As I said, this is very, very hard for me and I just want them to go to a good home. I figured yorkietalk would be the best place to find a person who will love them as much as I have, and trust me I have loved them. I would like to ask a rehoming fee of $150 for Huck, $250 for Tuff or $300 for the pair. I have attached pictures of them. Please message me or respond to this thread if interested. |

| I'm so sorry you have to do this. They are both beautiful boys. Are they neutered? I pray they find wonderful family homes.

| Thank you for your kind words, Perrella! I am very sorry as well. Huck is neutered, Tuff is not. Huck is pad trained, Tuff is crate trained. Huck is around 4.5 pounds, Tuff is 7. |

| Have you looked into surrendering them into rescues in your area? My two fosters were surrendered, and the family insisted they be placed together, so I will not consider any families who will not take them both. If you let your local rescue know, they will make sure to find them a home together, and while they are being fostered will still be together. Rescue will also take care of Tuff's neuter before he is placed.

| As the OP stated, these boys are a "bonded" pair.

| Placing your boys in a new home is a daunting task for just one dog but, two is even more of a challenge to keep them together. This will be a very painful time for both of them and I commend you for wanting to keep them together...they will definitely need each other during this transition. I hope you read captain noonie's post above in regards to making the choice to surrender your boys to a reputable rescue group and more importantly a breed specific rescue group who will be most familiar with your boys needs. Please bear in mind, if you are not prepared to have your boys up to date on shots and most importantly neuter Tuff before then, I would strongly encourage you to look at rescue. In addition to preparing your boys for adoption, they will also be able to process the applicants and do Vet & reference checks, along with a home inspection to ensure that your boys are placed in a safe environment. I know YTNR will honor your wishes to place both boys together if they have an available foster home able to accept both boys. Best of luck to you & your boys...

| I'm sorry you have to rehome your boys. I would be interested in them. I am particularly interested in them. Sadly my lil guy passed away in surgery on Thursday very unexpectedly. He was a tiny rescue I had for less than two years, only weighing 3.5lbs. I also lost my golden retriever after 11 years only 2 months ago so I have a hole in heart and room in my home. I would prefer just one small dog but understand the need for them to be together. Can you elaborate on their personalities and training. Thanks. |
