| You did all that you can do. Sometimes it is so hard when we want to help yet the other person will not let us.

| It's been a lesson for me in more ways than one. I think the number one thing is to not even search these sites until I'm ready to bring another baby into my home. Too sad & too frustrating otherwise.

I agree. My friends kept telling me to stay off of Petfinder. I read the stories and just cry. I want to help them all.  But I know I can't. I have Rosie and Mikki now and that will it for me. I can afford these two comfortably and give them everything they need (and what I want  ). I think it is smart to not get one when you know that you are not ready.
