I think she's a beautiful little girl. She looks so bright and alert. I suppose that's a testament of what Linda's special love can do for a little yorkie.:p Sending prayers for her to do well at the dentist tomorrow.

Hello Ladyjane, I am so very happy Gabby is making progress, she looks so sweet. I wanted to also ask if you had gotten my message I sent you a PM a week ago, and I had not heard anything back from you. I'm not sure maybe you have all the help you needed if so I understand. Hug Gabby for me and thank you for taking care of her.:confused:

I just received a call from my vet and Gabby's dental went really well! She only lost four teeth!! Very surprising to all of us. She does have periodontal disease and will need extra attention to her teeth. They packed some of them so that should help.
Interestingly, they found a small cleft palate. It is closing well and hopefully will never be a problem for her.
Her referral to the neurologist will be made next!

Terrific news for sure. Bet in a few days she will feel even better after the frntal procedure. Best of luck at the Neurologist.

Yes, I am very excited about her teeth....they were dreadful looking. Even my vet was suprised!
Thanks, Steve....I will keep everyone posted on the neuro appt once I make it. I want to give her mouth time to heal from the teeth she lost.

I beleive I meant to write "Dental" Procedure. I sometimes shake my head at what my fingers put out!

Oh Linda that is terrific news. I am happy to hear that the dental went well. I will be anxiously awaiting the update after the Nuero appointment. I will continue to pray for Gabby. Please give her a big hug from me!

I just went to the YHR adoption page. So many little dogs need help. Some with no donors to help defray the cost. Hoping this great community continues to help when they can.

I'm glad she didn't lose more teeth. I'm sure she is happy about that as well!:D I think she is such a doll.:)

Oh, so glad to hear that Gabby's procedure went well and she only lost 4 teeth. I bet she will start feeling better shortly.

And, just want to check up on her....How is she doing this morning?

Gabby is doing well this morning! She is a bit whiny...my guess is her mouth is sore, but she did eat!
I just scheduled her for an appointment with the neurologist on Monday, the 24th.

Just got home from the EC...had to leave Gabby there. :( I went out to dinner tonight and came home and found Gabby's eye ulcer much worse....looking as if it may have ruptured. I was stunned. It had been looking better...no clue how it suddenly went bad. AND....her other eye is now developing an ulcer! I have never seen a pup get ulcers in both eyes at the same time. :(
There are some emergencies in there, so they are going to squeeze her in as soon as possible. I will go back for her at 6:00 AM. He is going to do a third eyelid flap on her...she still could lose that eye. :( This is the next step that is done with these things and hopefully it will help. Anyone seeing this tonight, please say a prayer for Gabby. She has been through so much.

I cannot stand to look at it.....just looks so painful. Poor little angel. Waiting for the offices to open so I can get her in to see the opthamologist. Pics below....not for the squeamish. :( Don\'t know if you can see that the other eye is developing an ulcer, too. Just so awful.
