A little while ago she started barking at me and trying her darndest to push her little butt up! She had lots of twitching going on in her lower torso. It's so good to read about Gabby being spunky and barking at you. She was trying to tell you!:D I hope and pray she'll continue to improve. I really believe she will. Bless her little heart. She certainly has had some battles in her little life. I really hope her eye can be saved, too. It seems as though she doesn't want to wait 30 days to get up and get moving.

Always happy to hear updates on little Gabby...we are all so proud of her. She sure has captured all of our hearts. Give her hugs from Lexi & I...keeping her and you in our prayers. I can't help but smile when I think of her. You are so incredible Cathy...truly a blessing :D

Gabby is doing well. She tried to get up and walk out of her crate towards me today when I opened it to take her out. She is still not totally back to where she was before surgery, but I believe I see small improvements each day.
She will be going to the neurologist on Monday to get her sutures removed. I am looking forward to seeing what the neurologist sees in her neuro check.

Gabby is such a fighter, and she now has something to really be excited about. She is feeling unconditional love from her mom, and it has given her the will to get better. Though I know you don't expect the thanks, she is probably feeling so grateful to you for your love, devotion, and compassion. I am overjoyed every time I read your posts and hear that she is improving each day.

Gabby had her sutures out today. All of the things I have been seeing are reflexes and not the signs I had hoped they were. :( They said that it is too early to give up and that they expected it might be at least 30 days; but it is so hard not to be discouraged. She is a trooper...she got herself up and tried to walk to me when the vet put her down. She is very strong in her front limbs and can do that for a few steps...she lifts her little butt and carries herself with her front part of her body. We stopped off for a beauty appointment for her :) She looks like a little doll. :) Here is a pic I took in the car with my cell phone. I will get some more pics of her soon and post them.

Ahhh, don't get too discouraged. These doctors base everything they say on medical science and forget about the power of prayer and sheer will! She looks like a little doll. What big, beautiful eyes she has! Keeping her in our prayers!
