Linda, I agree. I feel Gabby will be zooming along in a few weeks. You have given her a reason to want to walk! We'll just keep praying for this little girl. Sheila |

Keeping up the prayers for Gabby. Linda, your one in a million! |
That's terrific news. Small steps for sure. Basil is pulling for her from his X-Pen! |
That's fantastic news about Gabby. |
Today was better for her right leg at PT. I am very concerned, though, because she is just not getting up and walking on her own yet. The therapist said that she will not feel negative about it until it reaches another two weeks without progress. She thinks it all may be because Gabby is weak. She does tire easily now...starts panting so her therapy has to be done in small bits. |
...and she loves to be cuddled and carried around by you! She is a smart girl -she wants to stay right where she she's at!!! If she gets much better, she may not be your special baby. All joking aside, I bet it's just a matter of time. She's been through a lot and I'll bet in just a few short weeks, she'll be doing much better! Once again, she's a lucky girl to have you on her side! |

We'll just keep praying, all the harder for Gabby. I like the therapists positive attitude. Sheila |

Still praying for little Ms. Gabby. Glad to hear these slow progress too. |
I hope you all are right. I am trying to have the same attitude that the therapist has, but it is SO hard. :( |
I'm just catching up with the last two updates. I'm sure she is very weak. She is bound to still be weak and sore, plus she has some age on her. It very well may take her a bit more time to regain her strength. She might surprise you and really take off when she is a bit stronger. I look at her picture daily and always say a special prayer for Gabby. I want her to get there so much!:) |
Gabby truly was a diamond in the rough and she is polishing up to be such a beauty. It is amazing the changes she has flown through in the short time she has been in your care. It really shows what love, patience, and some great people, rescue and Vets can do. It may be a long road for her but it is wonderful to see her blossom. Thank you to all her helpers. Bless you Gabby. |
1 Attachment(s) When I am in my office/sewing room, Gabby stays in a crate next to my desk. Since she was cleared by the neurologist recently, I have left the crate open and my pups have been one by one wandering in there to check on her. Tonight three of them decided to go in there and lie down with her. So cute! :) Pictured are from the front and clockwise: Adina, Armani, Isabella and Gabby. |
What a sweet picture and love how they all decided to hang out with Gabby. :D |
