Awww she is SO smiling in that pic. I'll keep praying she gets better! I wouldn't give up hope yet. The doctor is right, it is still early. If nothing else, she looks sooooo happy. Truly, that is the best gift she could ever have...happiness. I'm sure she is beyond satisfied with just having a mommy who loves her. |
She looks precious Linda! I just love that little face. I would not be discouraged at all...you know her better than anyone and with that spirit of hers she is going to walk. She may take a while but she is going to do it. Still sending prayers...give her a kiss for me. I have been studying for a huge test I need to take on Saturday..so I will give you a call this weekend. |
Continues prayers for Gabby.....she is a doll and one strong little pup! And continued prayers for you as you continue to guide her recovery though these tough days!! |

AWWWWW just love her picture. Prayers contine for Gabby and her healing. She is a strong girl with a big fight in her. |
She has SO much personality, you can just see it in her face. :) I am still praying for her and all the people working for her right now. |
I just love that picture of Gabby. She looks cute as can be in her new do!:p She loves you so and it sounds like she has a lot of willpower, so I think she may just pop up and walk to you one day. I hope it's soon. If it isn't soon, I'm sure it will happen and that will probably be when you least expect it.;) Sending more prayers for little Gabby, too. |
Picture is Beautiful Linda! Prayers for Miss Gabby..... |

4 Attachment(s) Took some new pics of Gabby tonight. She did not seem to be much into a photo shoot, so I made it a short one. The left eye still looks a bit odd, but it is better than it was. Attachment 339080 Attachment 339081 Attachment 339082 Attachment 339083 |
Well, none of us are supermodels, right? We've all got our "warts." I think she is just adorable and obviously you have brought her a long way since the day you got her. Keep up the good work and thanks for the updates! |
What pretty pictures of Gabby. She was probably tired after her big day. Mine lays down when she's tired of getting her picture taken.:D |

I was just looking through some paperwork and found the following on a helpful hints list that the clinic gave me after Gabby's surgery: "You have allowed us to provide the spinal cord with a happier environment in which healing will hopefully occur. A tincture of time and lots of tender loving care are needed to see how much recovery your pet obtains. Remember that the majority of improvement occurs in the first 4-8 weeks following spinal surgery, but your pet really has 6-12 months to show all the improvement possible from this spinal cord injury." Gabby is trying to stand on her own. She can't but I see her trying to pick her back end up. Just trying so hard to keep the faith. One thing I do know....she does know when she has to go to the bathroom. She starts barking! :) |
She'll stand. She sounds like she's very smart. I think she really, really tries so hard to please you, because she loves you and knows you love her, too. It's really cute that she barks to tell you she needs to potty.:) |
God bless you and Gabby. Hugs Jackie |
