| Thanks so much for the update on Gabby, Ladyjane. I am sure you are all quite exhausted! I will continue to keep this baby in prayer for the hope that she can and will live out a happier life from this day forward! Thank you for all you do and all the others too, to help these babies! I will be checking back to hopefully hear of good progress with her....

| I'm just checking in on Gabby this morning and sending her some kisses. I pray she has all these issues resolved and is back to playing soon! Linda, how old do you think she is?

| Poor baby was SO full of it...took her in this morning and it was all removed. I am SO sure that feels better! She also was put on metronidazole and reglan ... and I am adding pumpkin to her food so that she will perhaps have better motility down there. New pics of Gabby! The last one shows her eye ulcer. She still needs to visit my groomer, but she is SO pretty! gabby1web.jpg gabby2web.jpg gabby3web.jpg agabby4web.jpg

| Oh my goodness...the difference in even this short amount of time is amazing! What a huge, huge change you have already made in this precious baby's life. Just to know that she can lay her sweet head down in a warm, soft spot and wake up safe and be fed and have someone there to hold her gently....there is a special place for people like you! This really does make me hold my little ones a little tighter each time I see them - I can't imagine either of them having to endure what this little one has gone through....where would these little ones be without you??? I will make a donation right now to help with little Gabby.... |

| Wow Linda...she looks so much better already! How old do you think she is? She is really very pretty. Who would of thought under all that "yuck" was this little princess. She looks very content.

Oh, I am never really surprised any more. I have seen so many like her......little diamonds in the rough. Her age is a bit of a mystery. We have her listed as 8...started out at 10 but we talked about that again today and just don't think she is that old. The problem is that you can estimate the age of a dog by the condition of the teeth; but, when they are as bad as Gabby's that estimate can be way off. She has more than likely never had a dental. I have seen pups with teeth like that at the age of 5 (and that age was documented)...and some older. So...she honestly could be younger, but I doubt a LOT younger than 8. That is probably a pretty good estimate.

| Oh, Gabby is a little beauty. She looks so happy and warm in her pink "room." Glad she was cleaned out (so to speak), and given the medicine. Just amazing the difference already.

| Speaking of diamonds in the rough....here is one of my favorites. My Cody (who passed away in August 09 ) His before an after pics are here: www.yorkiehavenrescue.com/cody Many of you have seen these pics before, but perhaps some have not. I always like to share it. Stories like his and Gabby's are good for people to see....to know that there are some darlings sitting and waiting for homes.
