Oh, I am never really surprised any more. I have seen so many like her......little diamonds in the rough.

Her age is a bit of a mystery. We have her listed as 8...started out at 10 but we talked about that again today and just don't think she is that old. The problem is that you can estimate the age of a dog by the condition of the teeth; but, when they are as bad as Gabby's that estimate can be way off. She has more than likely never had a dental. I have seen pups with teeth like that at the age of 5 (and that age was documented)...and some older. So...she honestly could be younger, but I doubt a LOT younger than 8. That is probably a pretty good estimate.
