Whenever I read of this I look at mine, and cannot imagine how people could be a part of hurting little ones like them! Someday it will all be illegal and people will wonder at how barbaric we were in this century. But for now..... thankful there are so many rescues working hard against them.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Debra, they are not so much limited to the number of dogs they can own, but over a certain number are required to have licensing, minimal kennel specifications, pay fees, be subject to inspection, etc. Requirements that could bring closer scrutiny and exposure to their dirty little business and possible jail time for their crimes. They are dumping dogs now, bc the law took affect after the first of the year. The bigger commercial type puppymills will not be as affected, bc most of them will pay the fees, probably already provide close to the minimal kennel requirements and will take their chances on inspection. Okla. is notorious for being lax with inspections, whether it involves children in DHS, restaurants/commercial kitchens, and now kennels. I'm in hopes inspections will not be just an empty threat with this legislation though.

| Check out the Rescue Me Yorkie rescue organization (Rescue Me Yorkie Rescue). They do adoptions in the DC/MD/VA/PA/WV/NJ region, but they might be able to take a few in as fosters. I will make a small donation to you as well!
