| Anyone in MAINE/Northern New England need help ASAP I just received a call from the Vacationland Kennel Club and they have 6 Yorkies needing to be rescued ASAP. I am calling all around with my contacts and can find homes for 3 rescues but still need 3 more. I know nothing about the dogs or their health at this point. I cannot take any in because I have 2 young pups who have not finished their vaccination series and I cannot chance that. Please contact if you know of anyone. Thank you.

| I would call Cathie Cyr at Yorkies Inc. as well. She has a whole network of people that foster, she is in Taunton Mass.

| I emailed her and will wait to hear from her. I just spoke with the lady that has them in hand and there are 4 girls and 2 boys. 1 boy with eye issues and that is all the info I have. The lady is going to groom them and give them distemper shots but they will need to be fixed as these were "breeder" dogs that had been kept in cages ... I have hustled to find homes of the 4 girls but no one to take in the boys as they have been stud dogs. None are housebroken but are very social and friendly. I will be having the girls spayed & Rabies and the people taking them will pay for that as an adoption fee. I feel aweful as there are also Maltese and Pekes there also These people thought that they would make gobs of money with these dogs... and wanted to retire on the dogs labors, how disgusting.

| Hi.... I am with Yorkies Inc.... I will see what we can do but it is only Cathie and I that run Yorkies Inc with occasional fostering help from someone who has adopted in the past.... We would need more info on the dogs (ages and size) if we are going to ask someone who has adopted from us in the past to foster them....both Cathie and I are at our limit right now for fosters... and I also have a 10 week old puppy here that still needs more shots. Would there be any transport help to get the dogs down to us? I work full time and the next two days Cathie is vetting our special needs dog Butternut (he is seeing a few specialists) while after work tomorrow I am vetting two others for shots. I called Cathie to check her email and she was going to...

| Tae1107, I am going to Freeport on Saturday....to do some shopping. I would be happy to pick up one of the dogs and bring them back to Mass. Cathie is only like forty minutes from me. I actually know Jon...he has been to my house for work. Let me know what you need and I would be happy to help out in any way I can.

| I will try to get more information. The lady that has the dogs right now is just holding them to groom and then needs to place them ASAP. She has only had them on premise for a few days and knows very little. Both males are smaller sized she says and one has an eye issue. Both are intact. The place they came from states they have had shots in the past and the dogs appear healthy besides they eye issue. The groomer lady was waiting to cut them down because they are in a shed type place with heat but not ideal. She also is trying to help with the Pekes and the Maltese and doing what she can. The owner was supposed to call me this evening with more info on ages and shot records....will update as soon as I can.

We may be able to take some as well, if the Maltese and Pekes still need rescue, we might be able to help with them, but it would also matter exactly how long they can be held somewhere and if we can coordinate transport down closer to NY.

Do the Maltese and Pekes have homes or a rescue to go to? And they are being delivered to Connecticut? Do the Jap Chins have homes or a rescue to go to? Do you need a rescue for the 2 Yorkie boys? Where are they now and where are they going to be brought to?
