| this is a very touching story!!! You are very wonderful for helping and loving tiny. I too was able to rescue a senior dog last year, and it was so rewarding. |

| Senior Yorkie Talker | Greetings all from Little Tiny! Tiny has been nothing but a joy to have. Today, I found her weakness. Seems today she turned into a chicken thief! I had her on the sofa with me. I placed my tray wth a piece of chicken on my lap. I turned to answer my phone and when I looked back, there was little Tiny with my chicken breast in her mouth! It was the first time she has ever gone after table food. I must admit, it did smell really good!We hope everyone survived the winter. Tiny spent most of hers in front of the fireplace and this time looking out from the warmth of her home. Thank you everyone for continued good wishes for her. In the next few weeks I will be planning her surgery to remove her growth. I think she will do just fine. Happy springtime and sweet kisses from Tiny! |

| Senior Yorkie Talker | I have been struggling with doing surgery on Tiny's foot with a growth that had gotten as large as the diameter of her whole foot. I was going to schedule for it to be debulked so I would not have to amputate her foot. Today, I picked her up and decided to move the hair to see how it was doing. It literally has shrunk over half its size. It is not a fluid mass, so I am not sure why, but God has helped little miss Tiny. If it stays like this, I will not do surgery. It does not hurt her. I am happy for now. I really did not want to risk creating a problem for her in an area that has little skin to cover a wound. I am sure all of your prayers and good wishes have been heard. I pray it stays this way or shrinks even more. She is such a sweet, kind and gentle soul. She deserves a quiet, spoiled life for a little longer. I love Tiny. Our home and pack is not complete without her. |

| Senior Yorkie Talker | Happy Spring from me and Tiny! I cannot help but believe that all the good thoughts and wishes for this once sad, but now very happy little yorkie, have resulted in a guardian angel looking out for her. The growth on her foot continues to get smaller. It is now the size of a very small pea! Her toe is back to normal position. She still holds it up when she sits. It does not hurt her. I continue to think it just feels funny. I am just so happy for her. Tiny is very sweet and really is very little additional work. Bringing her to my home is one of the best things I could have done. She is my little friend. I encourage anyone that has the capability of helping a senior yorkie to do so. She only has two toofers, but her eyes do the smiling for her every day when she does her happy dance when I come home. Right now she is doing what she does best... sleeping! We hope all of these spring showers will bring you all beautiful May flowers! Happy Easter to everyone! |

| This is the first time I have seen this thread. I've been sitting here crying as I'm reading it (little Gidget wonders what's wrong with mommie). God bless you for helping these little elderly souls. I am so thankful you reach out and give them comfort in their twilight years. My husband and I have been talking about eventually starting just a small yorkie shelter to keep the elderly. Your posts really confirm our conviction over eventually doing this. Please keep in touch with how Tiny is doing. We will keep her and her foot in our prayers. |

| Just found this thread and read through it. I am in tears also, just so happy for Tiny and and for you that things worked out so well. Just goes to show that some things are meant to be, I believe Tiny was meant for you.

| Senior Yorkie Talker | Hi all! Just another short Tiny update. The growth on her foot is almost completely gone. I am so happy. It really had grown so large I thought I would have to put her down for her own comfort. She seems happy, healthy and finally at peace. No more look of fear. No more hunger. Most of all, no more feeling unloved. She is loved and cherished not only by me, but all of her YT friends. I don't know how long I will be blessed to have her, but each day will be a happy one for her... and for me. Tiny and I would like to send all of her well wishers a virtual bouquet of roses for all of your kindness. We only wish they could be real. |
